New Anthem

My husband shared this song with me last night. It made me cry. It is my new anthem about having Scleroderma.It is called All About Your Heart by Mindy Gledhill.

I love this line...

It’s not about your scars
It’s all about your heart

A little about me...

I'm the Scleroderma Mom. When I was seven years old I was diagnosed with Systemic Scleroderma. Since then I have had my fair share of Scleroderma ups and downs. I can't really remember what it was like not to have Scleroderma. As a kid I remember some of my doctors saying that I would probably not be able to have children Well here we are almost 20 years later and I have been blessed with a wonderful husband and two healthy kids. Being a Mom of two young kids and having Scleroderma is hard. So I thought I'd use this blog to share some of the things I have learned that have helped to make my life a little easier.
